From the Artist’s Desk
I love the idea of these two opposing creatures, the bull and the bear, co-existing in a sense, yet never existing at the same time. Caught in their never-ending cycle, they circle endlessly around each other, in constant tension, like a record that never stops spinning. By weaving their silhouettes into the grooves on the record, my aim was to reinforce how they are inextricably tied, not just to each other, but to the system that contains them too.
